| Descrição do anverso | The royal crowned arms of Portugal occupy the center of the obverse, flanked on either side by the mint marks P-R (Gomes Se 74) or R-P (Gomes Se 75), each letter surmounted by three pellets. A circular legend in Latin runs along the periphery. The shield displays the traditional Portuguese armillary sphere and quinas arrangement, rendered in the bold, somewhat irregular style characteristic of hammered gold coinage of the mid-sixteenth century. |

| Descrição do reverso | The reverse depicts a standing full-length figure of Saint Vincent (São Vicente), the patron saint of Portugal, clad in deacon's vestments and holding a martyr's palm frond in one hand and a ship in the other, consistent with his traditional iconographic attributes. Two six-pointed stars are positioned in the field to the left and right of the figure. The circular Latin legend runs along the outer rim, framing the central design. The engraving is typical of the Portuguese hammered gold coinage of the reign of Sebastião I, exhibiting the slightly irregular flan and bold relief characteristic of the period. |
