| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a large Gothic letter K, the initial of Casimir (Kazimierz), surmounted by a royal crown with prominent central fleuron. The letter is flanked on both sides by pellets or annulets arranged in pairs, serving as decorative fillers. A partial inner ring or arc is visible to the right of the letter. The flan is irregular in shape, as typical of hammered medieval coinage, with a somewhat granular, worn surface showing patches of green patina. |
