Obverse description Hammered silver flan bearing a two-line Persian legend in Nasta'liq script, divided by a horizontal ruled line across the field. The upper register contains the royal epithet referencing Queen Victoria as sovereign of England and India, while the lower register continues the honorific inscription. The coin is struck on a roughly round planchet with a milled or beaded border, characteristic of Jodhpur State issues of the mid-nineteenth century.
