Obverse description Hammered silver flan bearing multiple lines of Persian script arranged across the field, divided by a horizontal line characteristic of Mughal-style rupee coinage. The legends, struck in a bold but irregular hand, reference the ruling authority and regnal context. The overall style follows the broad Mughal epigraphic tradition adapted by the Malerkotla princely mint. Pellet ornaments appear in the lower field as decorative or mint distinguishing devices.
