| Obverse description | Hammered silver flan bearing a bold calligraphic legend in Persian Nasta'liq script, struck across the entire field in multiple horizontal registers. The central legend reads 'Shahrukh, servant of the threshold of Reza' with additional pious formulae invoking divine authority. The script is deeply incuse with characteristically bold strokes typical of Afsharid die-cutting, the irregular flan edge showing the hand-hammered production method. No figurative devices are present, in accordance with Shia Islamic numismatic tradition of this period. |

| Reverse description | Hammered silver reverse bearing a central cartouche containing the mint and authority legend in Persian Nasta'liq script. The legend 'Zarb Dar al-Saltana Herat' (struck in the seat of sovereignty, Herat) is arranged within a double-lined oval or circular frame, with decorative floral or dot elements filling the surrounding field. The toothed or reeded border visible on the coin edge is a result of the hammering and clipping process. The overall design follows standard Afsharid provincial coinage conventions for the Herat mint. |
