Obverse description Hammered silver rupee struck in the name of the Mughal emperor Farrukhsiyar, with the royal legend inscribed in Nasta'liq script across three horizontal bands dividing the field. The central band carries the primary imperial inscription, flanked above and below by subsidiary legends naming the emperor and the regnal year. A crescent device appears at the top of the field, consistent with Mughal rupee conventions. The overall design follows the standard Mughal format adopted by Maratha-controlled mints issuing coins in the emperor's name.
