Obverse description Hammered silver flan bearing the royal legend in cursive Nastaliq script arranged in two horizontal registers separated by a central dividing line, typical of Mughal-style rupees struck in the name of Emperor Farrukhsiyar. Decorative dot ornaments are scattered across the field. The inscription reads in the name (INO) of Farrukhsiyar, following the established Mughal epigraphic convention adopted by the Maratha issuing authority at Raibagh. The overall style and layout conform closely to the Mughal prototype, with bold calligraphic strokes filling the broad, irregular flan.
