| Beschrijving voorzijde | Persian couplet in praise of Ahmad Shah Durrani rendered in bold Nasta'liq script, occupying the full field of the flan. The calligraphic inscription is arranged in two registers separated by a horizontal line, with flowing characters typical of Mughal-derived hammered coinage. The irregular flan and slightly off-center strike are characteristic of hand-struck rupees of this period and region. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Persian inscription in Nasta'liq script bearing the regnal formula and julus (accession year) of Ahmad Shah Durrani, distributed across the field in two registers. A distinctive Patiala mint mark is present: three pellets arranged at the lower right of the julus notation, with four pellets joined by a line extending toward the left edge of the coin — serving as the identifying privy mark of the Patiala princely state issue. The flan is irregular and the strike characteristic of hand-hammered production. |
