| Reverse description | The reverse follows the standard three-register Mughal rupee format, with bold Naskh Arabic legends arranged in horizontal bands divided by two raised parallel lines. The upper and central registers carry the regnal year formula and accession date legend, while the lower register bears the mint name 'Kattak' (Nagpur). Four raised pellets are distributed across the field as die identification marks, with some varieties additionally featuring a sword motif flanked by two pellets. The surface shows the characteristic irregular flan and slightly uneven strike of a hammered issue. |
