Reverse description The reverse presents multiple lines of Persian-script legend in Nastaliq style, divided into two registers by a curved line, following standard Mughal rupee format. The upper register contains the kalima or regnal couplet, while the lower register records the mint name Balwantnagar (Jhansi) in full, positioned at the bottom of the field. Mint city and regnal year details are incorporated within the legend field in accordance with Mughal-Maratha coinage conventions. The flan edges are somewhat irregular, consistent with the hammered technique employed at this provincial mint.
