Reverse description A crowned imperial double-headed eagle displayed, with spread wings decorated with floral ornaments, occupying the full field. The eagle holds an orb surmounted by a cross in its right talon and a sceptre in its left. A shield bearing the mounted figure of St. George slaying the dragon is superimposed on the eagle's breast. Three imperial crowns appear above — one large central crown flanked by two smaller ones — and the tail feathers of the eagle are arranged in a distinctive spread fan. The Cyrillic denomination and date legend is distributed around the periphery of the field.
