| Obverse description | Central device features the Imperial Russian double-headed eagle displayed, each head crowned and facing outward, surmounted by a single larger imperial crown with cross finial. The eagle bears a shield on its breast and holds a sceptre in its right talon and an orb in its left. The mint-master initials ФГ (Feodor Gube) appear below the eagle in the lower field. The circular legend reading МОНЕТА • РУБЛЬ • Ф Г surrounds the central device within a raised rim, accompanied by the date 1804 at the top, all contained within an inner beaded border. |
