Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Peter I facing right, wearing armor with ornate shoulder detailing, rendered in the so-called 'Moscow' portrait type. The effigy is boldly struck with finely engraved hair and facial features, occupying the central field. A circular Cyrillic legend encircles the portrait, running along the inner edge of a milled border.
