The eagle's talons clutch a sceptre to the left and an orb surmounted by a cross to the right. The Cyrillic legend reading 'МОСКОВСКИI РƔБЛЬ' arcs around the upper periphery, separated by dash stops, with the date '1707' divided and placed in the lower field to either side of the eagle's tail.
