Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Tsar Peter I facing right, wearing armour with an elaborately decorated breastplate and a clasp at the shoulder, rendered in a robust Baroque style. The effigy occupies the majority of the field, with flowing curled hair visible beneath the laurel wreath. A circular Cyrillic legend runs along the periphery, naming the ruler as Tsar and Autocrat of all Russia. The portrait is bold and high-relief, characteristic of the early milled rouble coinage produced at the Kadashevsky Mint.
