Obverse description Right-facing laureate bust of Tsar Peter I in armour with a draped mantle, rendered in high relief in the baroque style. The effigy shows the emperor with flowing hair beneath a laurel wreath, wearing a cuirass with elaborate decorative detailing visible at the shoulder. A Cyrillic legend encircles the portrait within a beaded border, identifying the ruler as Tsar Peter Alexeyevich, Autocrat of all Russia.
