正面描述	Draped bust of Empress Catherine II facing right, her hair elaborately dressed with a pearl-studded crown and long curled tresses, wearing drop pearl earrings and an ornate gown with a decorative bow at the shoulder. The engraver's initials T.I. (Timofei Ivanov) appear below the truncation. The mint mark ММД is inscribed at the bottom of the field. A circular Cyrillic legend runs along the periphery within a beaded border.
