| Opis rewersu | The reverse displays an elaborate floral cross composed of a central Tudor rose from which radiate four lions and four fleurs-de-lis alternately arranged, forming a symmetrical eight-part pattern within a tressure of interlocking arcs. A prominent applied Groningen countermark — a globose pellet or boss — is visible at the centre, officially validating the coin for circulation in the city. Small crowns appear at the terminals of the cross. The surrounding legend, rendered in Gothic uncial script and bounded by beaded borders, bears the Vulgate phrase from Luke 4:30 referring to Jesus passing through the midst of the crowd. |
