Beschrijving voorzijde	Bare head of the nymph Segesta facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and bound with a stephane, rendered in fine relief with naturalistic Hellenistic modeling. The neck is cleanly truncated. A border of dots frames the design along the upper edge of the flan.

Beschrijving keerzijde	A warrior or youth standing left beside a horse, depicted in full figure; he holds a long spear in his right hand while his left hand rests on or controls the horse at his side. The Greek ethnic legend ΕΓΕCΤΑΙΩΝ arcs across the upper field. The composition is characteristic of late Hellenistic Sicilian bronze coinage.
