| Beschrijving voorzijde | Within a beaded border, the Portuguese royal coat of arms is depicted centrally, showing the characteristic escutcheon with castles and quinas. Flanking the arms to the left and right are the denomination initials 'I' and 'B', standing for '1 Bazaruco'. The design is crudely but recognizably rendered in the hammered style typical of Portuguese colonial copper coinage produced at the Damão mint. The overall field shows characteristic irregular flan surfaces consistent with locally struck bazaruco issues of the early seventeenth century. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A wheel (roda) design occupies the central field, consisting of a quartered circle with a central pellet or boss, enclosed within a beaded or rope-like border — a motif characteristic of the 'Roda' series of Portuguese Indian bazaruco coinage. The quadrants formed by the wheel spokes appear plain or lightly decorated. The irregular flan and crude hammered execution are consistent with colonial mint practice at Damão during the reign of Philip II of Portugal. No legend is present on the reverse. |
