Obverse description Bare-headed effigy of King Carl XIII facing right, rendered in high relief with fine portrait detail. The truncated bust occupies the central field, with the king's hair styled in a neoclassical fashion. A continuous circular legend runs along the toothed border surrounding the effigy. The engraving reflects the restrained neoclassical style prevalent in early 19th-century Swedish coinage.
