| Obverse description | Bare-headed right-facing bust of King Gustav III of Sweden, rendered in a restrained Baroque style with naturalistically styled hair tied at the nape with a ribbon bow and falling in loose curls. The effigy occupies the central field with moderate relief. The circular Latin legend GUSTAVUS III · D · G · REX SVECIAE · runs along the periphery, interrupted by the portrait, and is separated from the milled rim by a narrow flat border. |

| Reverse description | The crowned Swedish coat of arms — featuring the three crowns and the Folkung lion on a horizontally lined shield — is displayed at centre, surrounded by a wreath of laurel and oak branches tied at the base. The denomination is expressed in two equivalent notations flanking the shield: '1/6' and 'Rd.' to the left and right respectively, with '16' and 'ÖR.' below them, and 'S·M·' at the lower left.
