Obverse description A classical lyre in high relief occupies the centre of the field, its resonating body formed by a detailed tortoise shell with a circular sound hole visible at the junction with the arms. The curved arms support a crossbar with tuning pegs, and multiple strings are rendered in fine relief. The legend arcs along the upper periphery within a reeded border.
