Obverse description Right-facing truncated bust of Albrecht von Wallenstein in high relief, wearing elaborately decorated armour with heraldic motifs on the breastplate. The legend ALBERTUS WALLSTEIN curves around the field on either side of the effigy, with ALBERTUS to the left and WALLSTEIN to the right.

Reverse description Plain field entirely occupied by a multi-line Latin inscription recording Wallenstein's birth in Prague in 1583 and death in 1638, separated by a decorative rule from a smaller inscription identifying the series and publisher. Below a second rule, the date M.DCCC.XXIV and the publisher's imprint DERAND EDIDIT appear in the lower portion of the field, all within a double raised border.
