附加信息	The original 50 Francs Guiraud of 1950 was itself a short-lived issue, struck as France attempted to stabilize its currency in the immediate postwar years before the franc's continued devaluation rendered small gold denominations economically absurd. This reproduction — struck by the Monnaie de Paris in .999 fine gold rather than the 90% alloy of the originals — was produced for the collector and bullion markets decades later, bearing no legal tender status.
