Modern replica of a Hadrianic sestertius, produced in Italy for the collector and tourist trade. Hadrian's reign (117–138 AD) generated some of the most artistically ambitious official bronze coinage of the entire Principate, which has made his sestertii perennial targets for reproduction. No numismatic value; catalogued here for inventory control only.
