Obverse description Central field depicts a robed standing figure of Saint Joachim facing forward, holding a staff or sceptre, with an elaborate heraldic shield at his feet bearing multiple quartered arms. The figure is framed within a beaded inner circle. To the left of the figure appears a small mintmaster's mark or privy mark. A Latin legend runs along the outer margin, referencing the Counts of Schlick and their dominion titles, separated by ornamental stops. The overall design faithfully reproduces the style of the original early sixteenth-century Joachimsthaler coinage of the Schlick family.
