| Aversbeschreibung | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Willem I of the Netherlands, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curly hair and sideburns in the neoclassical style. The engraver's name MICHAUT appears incuse beneath the truncation, along with a small facsimile royal signature in the lower field. The surrounding legend reads WILLEM KONING DER NED. G.H.V.L., distributed evenly around the periphery. The entire design is framed by a continuous border of raised beads. The mirror-like proof field provides strong contrast against the devices. |

| Reversbeschreibung | Central device features the crowned Arms of the Kingdom of the Netherlands — a shield bearing a rampant lion — surmounted by an ornate royal crown rendered in fine detail. The denomination numeral 3 appears to the left of the shield and the abbreviation G (Gulden) to the right, both in the field. The circular legend NEDERLANDEN · 1817 · MUNT VAN HET KONINGRYK DER reads around the periphery, with the date 1817 positioned at the top. A registered trademark symbol appears at the bottom, and the whole design is enclosed within a raised bead border. |

The original 1817 three-gulden piece was among the first major silver issues of the restored Kingdom of the Netherlands, struck as Willem I worked to stabilize a monetary system shattered by two decades of French occupation and Napoleonic administration. This is a replica — silver-plated, not struck in the .893 silver of the prototype — and should be cataloged accordingly rather than assessed against KM# 57 attribution standards.
