The original 2 Pesos oro was a gold coin; this silver replica, issued by the Casa de Moneda de México, is a modern restrike produced for the collector market rather than circulation. KM#462 designates the replica specifically — the struck weight and alloy bear no relation to the 1919 gold prototype.
