Reverse description The elaborate coat of arms of the Second French Empire occupies the central field, featuring a crowned imperial eagle on a shield flanked by two allegorical figures and crossed sceptres, with a COPY cartouche superimposed at the base of the shield. The denomination 100 FRs appears in the lower field flanking the arms, with the date 1861 in the exergue between two small decorative marks.
