| 背面描述 | The crowned Bohemian lion rampant to the left, rendered in bold relief within a beaded inner circle, with elaborate decorative mantling or foliate scrollwork surrounding the central charge. The lion is depicted with double tail and bears a crown above. A circular Latin legend reading LVDOVICVS PRIMVS DEI GRACIA REX BOHEMIAE surrounds the entire design, commencing at 12 o'clock, separated from the field by a beaded border. |

The original Joachimsthaler, struck from 1519 at the Counts of Schlick's mine in Joachimsthal (now Jáchymov, Czech Republic), gave the world its monetary vocabulary — "thaler" begetting "dollar" through Dutch and Low German usage. This 1988 replica reproduces that foundational type, the large silver coin whose mass and consistency set a de facto standard that trade networks across Europe rapidly adopted without any central authority mandating it.
