| Obverse description | Draped bust of Liberty facing right, with long flowing hair cascading freely over the shoulder, rendered in the neoclassical style after the original 1794 Flowing Hair Dollar design. The legend LIBERTY arcs across the upper field, and the date 1794 appears in the lower exergual area. Fifteen six-pointed stars, representing the states of the Union, are arranged in a ring around the central effigy, flanking the bust on both sides. A beaded border encircles the entire design. |
