Two circular counter medallions bearing the numeral 1 flank the portrait at left and right, while the large word ONE is printed vertically in bold letterpress along each lateral border. A scrollwork panel at the base carries the denomination ONE DOLLAR in bold capitals, below the italic promise text, with two facsimile signatures and printed titles for Register and Treasurer. |

The entire reverse is covered by a dense, intricate guilloche underprint in dark grey-black, composed of fine geometric lacework forming a continuous engine-turned pattern across the full field. Four circular rosette counters, each enclosing the numeral 1, occupy the four corners, and the word ONE appears in a decorative banner at the top and bottom. The large ornate word ONE is superimposed at centre in bold outlined lettering over the guilloche ground. |
