Władysław Opolczyk, Duke of Opole, issued denars in the late 14th century during a period when he controlled significant territories in Silesia and parts of the Polish-Lithuanian borderlands through a series of shifting alliances — most notoriously with the Teutonic Knights, to whom he controversially pledged Dobrzyń Land in 1391, triggering a diplomatic crisis with Poland. This is a modern tin replica, produced in 2012, with no numismatic value beyond its educational function.
