Obverse description Two heraldic shields displayed side by side in the central field: on the left, the Rosenberg coat of arms featuring a five-petalled rose on a horizontally striped (barry) ground, and on the right, the Pernstein coat of arms bearing an aurochs head. The shields are surrounded by a decorative inner beaded border, with a circular outer legend reading the names of both noble persons. The die work is characteristic of late sixteenth-century Bohemian hammered coinage, with bold relief on the armorial charges.
