| 备注 |
The Banco Argentino of Córdoba operated during a brief and chaotic window of provincial free banking in Argentina, before the national government moved to consolidate monetary authority in the 1880s. A fractional denomination like this — half a real of Bolivian silver — speaks directly to the chronic small-change shortage that plagued interior provinces far from Buenos Aires, where Bolivian coinage still circulated as de facto currency long after Argentine independence.
ABNC's involvement was typical for serious Argentine banking ventures of the period; the engraving quality these plates delivered was partly a confidence signal to a skeptical depositing public. The Banco Argentino itself was short-lived, and surviving low-denomination notes from this issuer are genuinely uncommon.
