Obverse description Crowned facing bust of King Jaime III set within a quadrilobe (four-lobed Gothic frame), rendered in the medieval Aragonese style. The king is depicted with flowing hair falling to either side of his face, wearing a crown with prominent fleurons. Small rosette ornaments are placed in the spandrels between the lobes of the quadrilobe. The entire central design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, surrounded by the Latin royal legend in Gothic lettering: + IACOB DEI GRA REX MAIORICAR.

Reverse description A long cross pattee divides the field into four quadrants, each containing a quatrefoil lobe decorated with a small rosette at its centre, forming an overall quadrilobe composition typical of medieval Iberian coinage. Small pellets are placed at the junctions of the lobes, adding decorative detail. The central design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, surrounded by the Latin legend in Gothic lettering referencing the king's titles as Count of Roussillon and Cerdanya: + COMES ROSIL ET CERITANIE.
