| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central oval cartouche bearing the quartered arms of Bavaria-Palatinate, with the two-digit date divided on either side of the shield. The heraldic device is rendered in the style typical of late sixteenth-century Low Countries hammered coinage. A peripheral legend in Latin encircles the design, abbreviating the full titles of the issuing prince-bishop. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A long floriated cross occupies the full field, with a small circle at the center enclosing an imperial eagle. Trefoil ornaments fill each of the four angles formed by the arms of the cross. The peripheral Latin legend references the imperial decree of Rudolf II, lending the issue official authority under the Holy Roman Empire. The overall composition is characteristic of the regional real coinage of the Spanish Netherlands and Prince-bishopric monetary tradition of the late sixteenth century. |
