| Описание аверса | Central deity, identified as Avalokiteshvara or Manjushri, seated in padmasana (cross-legged) position upon a lotus throne, holding a sword in one hand; the figure is flanked to either side by a flaming trishula and a sword rendered in the regional artistic style. A Brahmi legend reading 'Ratnatraya' occupies the upper field above the deity. The overall execution is characteristic of the debased hammered coinage of the Samatata kingdom, with irregular flan and somewhat crude die-work consistent with late 8th-century provincial production. |

| Описание реверса | A cow and calf depicted in couchant position, the cow turning its head to lick the calf in a naturalistic pastoral composition typical of early medieval South Asian coinage. Above the animals, a crescent moon with a central dot is prominently placed in the upper field. Below the animals, a stylised representation of a mountain or sacred hill occupies the lower field. The imagery reflects Buddhist and possibly Brahmanical iconographic traditions associated with the Samatata region. Die execution is irregular and consistent with the debased hammered technique employed throughout this series. |
