The portrait is rendered in a crude, barbarous style characteristic of unofficial imitative issues, with simplified facial features and schematic drapery folds. A partially legible Latin legend surrounds the effigy, reading (IMP TET)RICVS (P F AVG), though the lettering is degenerate and partially blundered. The flan is small and irregular, with uneven surfaces and heavy green patination throughout the field.
