| Obverse description | Three augural instruments arranged in the field: a lituus (curved priestly staff) to the left, a jug (capis) in the centre, and a raven standing to the right facing left. The legend M·ANT·IMP arcs along the upper portion of the coin in incuse Latin characters. The design alludes to the priestly and military authority of Mark Antony, who held the office of augur. A border of dots encircles the entire design. |
