Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, with finely engraved hair and a laurel wreath, rendered in the portrait style characteristic of the Flavian dynasty. The effigy is depicted with a bare neck and shows the emperor's mature features in high relief typical of hammered Roman silver coinage. The circular legend runs around the periphery of the flan, framed by a beaded border.
