| 表面の説明 | Highly stylised and deeply devolved Celtic head facing right, rendered in low relief as an abstract arrangement of curvilinear ridges and lobes — the so-called Büschel ('bouquet' or 'tuft') type — in which the facial features have been reduced to a series of flowing, interlocking arcs. The design fills the irregular flan, with no inscription or border. The abstraction is characteristic of late La Tène Celtic coinage of the Vindelici, in which successive die-cutting reduced the original Hellenistic portrait prototype to a near-unrecognisable schematic form. |
