| 正面描述 | Diademed head of Libertas facing right, her hair elaborately dressed with locks falling to the neck, rendered in the late Republican style. The legend LEIBERTAS curves along the right field, employing the archaic spelling characteristic of this emission. The design is contained within a neat border of beads encircling the entire flan. |

Issued by Brutus during his command in Macedonia and Asia Minor following the Ides of March, this quinarius belongs to the same extraordinary campaign coinage that produced the famous EID MAR denarius — one of the most politically charged coin series ever struck in the Roman world. The LEIBERTAS legend is a deliberate archaism, invoking the antique spelling to connect Brutus's self-styled tyrannicide to the founding liberation of the Republic from the Tarquin kings in 509 BC. The choice of the quinarius denomination itself is unusual for campaign issues of this period, making RRC 506/3 considerably scarcer than the associated denarii from the same emission.
