| Obverse description | Bare-shouldered laureate bust of Tiberius facing right, depicted with finely rendered hair beneath the wreath and a slightly idealised portrait in the Julio-Claudian tradition. The effigy is set within a border of beaded dots. The obverse legend TI DIVI F AVGVSTVS curves around the periphery in crisp Latin capitals, identifying the emperor as son of the deified Augustus. The portrait conveys imperial authority through its clean profile and restrained classical modelling, consistent with hammered gold coinage of the Lugdunum mint. |

| Reverse description | Victoria, draped, seated to the right upon a globe, her left wing prominently visible behind her. She holds a laurel wreath extended forward in both hands, symbolising imperial victory and divine favour. The figure is rendered in a graceful classical style with delicate drapery folds. The reverse legend TR POT XXVI arcs around the upper field in bold Latin capitals, recording Tiberius's twenty-sixth tribunician power and thus providing a precise chronological anchor for the issue. A beaded border frames the entire reverse design. |
