Reverse description Small bust of the king facing right at centre, similarly styled with pellet-beaded hair, set within the field. Surrounding the bust, an inscription in Ancient South Arabian script is arranged in a circular legend, with additional characters placed in the lower field beneath the bust. To the right of the bust, a sceptre or staff symbol is visible. The legends record the king's name and the mint of Raydan, the royal capital of the Himyarite Kingdom.
