| Obverse description | A plain cross with arms terminating in pellet or pearl ornaments divides the field into four quadrants. The cross extends nearly to the coin's edge, lending a bold, austere character typical of mid-15th-century Italian billon coinage. A circular legend in uncial Latin letters surrounds the cross, reading DOmInVS PISAVRI, proclaiming the Lordship of Pesaro. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the rim, consistent with hand-hammered production of the period. |

| Reverse description | A rampant lion passant or rearing to the left occupies the central field, rendered in the bold, schematic style characteristic of 15th-century Italian civic coinage. The lion, heraldic emblem of the Sforza lordship, is depicted with raised forepaws and a curling tail, filling the available field of the small flan. A circular legend in uncial Latin letters, punctuated by rosette or star stops, surrounds the device and reads ALEX SFORTIA, identifying Alexander Sforza as the issuing lord. The overall execution is typical of a small hammered billon denomination, with a somewhat flat and uneven strike. |
