Additional information

Henri VII's tenure as Count of Luxembourg began in 1288 and ended when he was elected King of the Romans in 1308, eventually becoming Holy Roman Emperor. These small silver fractions were struck during the early portion of that rule, before imperial ambitions redirected attention — and resources — well beyond the county's borders. The Luxembourg mint output from this decade is sparse, and Weiller's classification of this type reflects genuine rarity rather than collector enthusiasm.
