Reverse description The displayed Tyrolean eagle occupies the central field, set within an inner circle. A Latin peripheral legend reads QVADRANS NOVVS TY, identifying the denomination as the 'New Quadrans of Tyrol.' The die work is typical of the hastily produced copper small change of the Kipper und Wipper inflationary period, with somewhat irregular strike and crude lettering consistent with hammered production.
