Obverse description Helmeted bust of Minerva facing right, wearing a crested Corinthian helmet, rendered in profile with fine detail to the cheek guard and neck guard. The goddess is depicted with draped shoulders, her effigy occupying the central field within a beaded border. The encircling Latin legend reads IMP T VESP AVG COS VIII, distributed around the periphery of the flan.

(Translation: Imperator Titus Vespasianus Augustus Consul Octavum. Supreme commander (Imperator) Titus Vespasian, emperor (Augustus), consul for the eighth time.)
Reverse description The senatorial authority mark S C (Senatus Consultum) appears in large letters at the centre of the field, enclosed within a finely rendered laurel wreath tied at the base. The wreath, composed of symmetrical leaf clusters, frames the inscription and fills the majority of the reverse design. A beaded border encircles the entire composition.
